This is a very stylish piece of 1920s / 1930s German WMF Design.
The vase is a large one measuring some 8 inches in height - and with a diameter at the widest point of about 7 inches.
It is of globular shape and made with a very beautiful bronzed, verdigris green patina - with etched gold coloured floral or seaweed decorations.
They are rather Oriental / Art Nouveau in feel and inspiration.
It is in excellent condition with no damages to the patina - or any dents or dings to the vase. These pieces of WMF metalware are now highly sought after - especially such an attractive piece and in such fine condition.
The vase has the WMF mark on the base, showing a stylized tower - derived from the emblem of Geislingen, a local landmark defensive tower.
This mark was used from 1925 - 1950. A large and very fantastic piece of Deco Wurttembergische Metalwarenfabrik ware.
