This is an interesting glass bowl which is Italian in origin and dates to the 1950s or early 1960s.
Sadly, it has now lost its original paper label - on a stylistic basis, it is being attributed as being by Barovier and Toso.
The interior of the little bowl is a scarlet red colour - and the outside has a layer of white which is full of silver aventurine flakes.
The vase is very organic in form - like a large flower head - the exterior has folds in the glass and the edge is ruffled like the edges of a flower.
Dimensions: Diameter is 5 inches, Height is about 2 1/2 inches.
It is 500 grams in weight.
No chips or cracks.
Listed at a very fair price.
