This is another lovely vintage paperweight - made in Scotland, possibly by Vasart Glass in the 1960s. The glass dome has a more grey tone to the glass - rather than being crystal clear - this grey tone is often found in Vasart weights.
There is no maker's cane to be seen in this weight, and again this is consistent with what you might find in Vasart examples.
There is a dusky rose pink ground, into which the millefiori canes are placed. The base has the customary pontil in the centre, as photographed.
There is a lilac millefiori cane in the centre and this is surrounded by a pale-coloured rosette of pink and yellow canes. There are a total of nine half-length latticino twisted canes issuing from the rosette - in red, white and blue. Between the long canes there are three millefiori canes the outer ones in green and the inner one in lilac.
Diameter at widest point is 2 1/4 inches and the height is just over 1 1/2 inches. No damages or scratches to the glass. The crown on this one is quite shallow - and the canes are quite near to the top of the clear dome.
