This is a 1930s storage jar made by TG Green Cornishware

It has the 1930s - 1950s Black Shield Mark - and also has harder to find lettering for contents: ALMONDS.  The lettering is under the glaze.

The little storage jar is in very good vintage condition - no chips or staining to the pottery. There is a little discoloured mark inside - (looks like a hairline - but it is confined to the glaze inside and not through the body of the pottery, as photographed).

It is a nice size storage jar for your almonds: measuring some 5 inches in height (including lid knop) - and with a diameter at the base of just over 3 3/4  inches.

In good vintage condition - given it is now about 90 years old.
