This is certainly a beautiful Scottish paperweight when it is on display.
It dates to 1997 - and was made by the paperweight artists, Jason Green & Neil Allan.
It is entitled Los Tres Amigos - which refers to the three scarlet red flower heads inside - as well as the three-faceted sides - which meet in a cut off triangular shaped peak at the top.
It from a limited of 350 (closed at 304) and on its release it had a price ticket of £125.
This one is numbered 167 on the base.
It is a very unusual shape - it is a faceted domed weight - with three teardrop-shaped polished facets on each side (with satin sections between each polished facet window). They meet at a flattened peak at the top.
The base colour is inky blue. In the centre sits three red roses bus - with mottled white petals below. Like my similar Daisy weight - the facets cause strange reflections in the weight - and you get a mirror image appearing from above.
Again this is a harder weight to source and it is certainly a very attractive weight - it must have taken great skill to have made this
It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. However, there is quite a profusion of light scratches on the base - which must have occurred with the weight has been moved about on a shelf or tabletop over the last twenty years - of course, you do not see these when the weight is on display - but only when held in raking light.
These "movement" marks on the base is reflected in my price (as well as its rarity value) - if it were in completely perfect condition it would probably have had a price tag on it of around £150.
