This is a little group of three 1960s British plastic powder compacts. photographed.
They are all in fairly good vintage condition, as have taken a number of images for your inspection.
I am listing the compacts at £10 each. These plastic ones were more easily damaged and did not survive as well as the metal examples. These are all very much more disposable items from the 60s. I am listing the wee Statton boxes at £10 each.
They lot consists of the following.
1/ Tweed. Finishing Touch Powder. In original card box. The compact is made of shiny black plastic - and has a gold logo on the id. It is semi-circular in shape. There is a clean mirror in the lid. A semi-circular puffer and its original powder.
2/ Melissa Powder Compact. Gold Tone Metal - with pink tinted landscape on the top. Clean mirror in lid - and with original powder inside. It comes in its original card retail box, as photographed.
3/ This is a most collectable one. It is a Max Factor / Creme Puff. It dates to the 1950s and comes in its original card retail box: Hollywood and London. The compact is a cream plastic with impressed gold "Hollywood" stars on the lid. And the product details are on the base. The lid has a clear mirror. The base no longer has its original cake of powder - but you could simply add a new modern sized one into here - with your preferred shade. The interior is as photographed. It is in good condition apart from lacking its original powder cake.
Please note that the powder inside of each compact is the original vintage powder - and as such it such not really be used by you. It is sold only as a collectable item.
These are listed at a fair price. It will be sent to you with a Royal Mail Tracked service.
