This is one of three contemporary Pate de Verre glasswares made by Daum that I am listing on my website. They date to the 1970s / 1980s.
All items are boxed - with certificates. Each one is in perfect condition with no damages.
This is without doubt the most stunning of the three - it is a large Orchid Vase made in vibrant yellow and lime green colours. It is such a wonderful piece - I am humming and hawing at the moment about listing it - it is on for the moment.. oooh! difficult decision for me.
The vase is beautifully modelled with a rim made up of conjoined yellow orchid flowers. The vase section is a green colour. The vase is signed Daum France on the base, as photographed.
It is in pristine condition - and comes in its original box - and it rest inside the box in a thick foam liner which is shaped to make the form of the vase and hold it snuggly in place.
These larger Orchid vases are now much harder to find - and are much sought after.
Dimensions: 8 1/4 inches. The diameter of the rim at the widest point is 5 inches. The base has a diameter of 3 inches.
The box is 12 x 9 x 6 3/4 inches.
I have taken lots of images for your inspection. It is in as new condition. I am listing it at a fair price. Postage will be with Royal Mail Tracked and Signed for post. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
The vase will also have private insurance to make sure it is fully insured in transit. It should be quite safe- as it is currently in its original thick foam lined box which has been created to perfectly fit the forms of the case.
