This is a wee job lot of three side plates. These are rare survivors and this is reflected in my asking price.
They have a fabulous geometric pattern and the design is called HAWAII.
I have a small selection of Hawaii serving plates and bowls etc in my Iconic Edinburgh online store - I would look at getting good postage quotes for you if you wish more than one item from my shop.
The pattern was designed in the early 1950s and has a fresh modern feel to the design synonymous with many Festival of Britain-inspired decorations. The design features a sprig of exotic leaves and a glossy overglaze red decorative band. The shape of the ceramics is the popular Stylecraft one.
As you can see - this is a really stylish and highly collectable pattern - and this 50s pattern is now becoming a much harder to find one.
All the plates in this set are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. One has an area of light crazing to the clear - glaze. This is taken into consideration with my pricing. I have taken a couple of close up images of the area in question on the plate - please look at these photos to assess fully the condition.
Dimensions: Each side plate is about 7 1/2 inches. The two perfect ones are £7.50 each and the one with the minor condition issue with the glaze is £5.
