This is a fabulous six shallow matching dessert bowls. These are rare survivors and this is reflected in my asking price.
They have a fabulous geometric pattern and the design is called HAWAII.
I have a small selection of Hawaii serving plates and bowls etc in my Iconic Edinburgh online store - I would look at getting good postage quotes for you if you wish more than one item from my shop.
The pattern was designed in the early 1950s and has a fresh modern feel to the design synonymous with many Festival of Britain-inspired decorations. The design features a sprig of exotic leaves and a glossy overglaze red decorative band. The shape of the ceramics is the popular Stylecraft one.
As you can see - this is a really stylish and highly collectable pattern - and this 50s pattern is now becoming a much harder to find one.
All the bowls in this set are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. One bowl has the tiniest touch of crazing - nothing major or disfiguring - and is reflected in my lower price for this set.
Dimensions: Each bowl has a diameter of 7 1/4 inches. The height is 1 1/2 inches.
The weight unpacked for the six is 1.7 kg
Due to the weight - this set will have to be sent with Parcelforce48. This will cost £10 and will be applied to your order at check out. We can add extra items to your parcel for no extra postage.
