This is a fine piece of Scottish pottery stoneware.
It was made by Buchan Pottery, who were based at Portobello, near Edinburgh (now closed).
It is a useful lidded serving dish or casserole bowl.
The height to the top of the handle is 5 inches. The diameter at the top is 7 1/2 inches.
Weight unpacked is 1.6 kg
Good vintage condition with no chips or damages - nice and clean inside with no staining etc.
I also have in my Iconic Edinburgh online store a selection of other Scottish stoneware items - of course, postal discounts would apply.
This lovely pattern is called Edinburgh. This is a harder pattern to source - this features a stylized abstract pattern of flowers.
A traditionally popular pattern in the Buchan Stoneware range with a good mid-century modern feel to the design.
Postal discounts would apply for multiple orders etc.
The weight means that I would have to send this with Parcelforce48 - this is a little more expensive to post. The postal cost would be £10 - but we could add other items to the parcel for no extra postal cost.
