This is certainly a very stylish vintage 1960s Japanese Alarm Clock.
It is made by Rhythm - as annotated to the face. Below, it says that the clock has 2 jewels. The model number is No. 5111.
This clock is a much harder one to find in good working condition.
It has a plastic case with a "mock" mirror chrome finish. There is a chrome effect decorative ring around the face. The stand is made of metal with a shiny chrome finish. This is certainly a more unusual colour scheme for this type of clock.
The face has a metallic finish. The numbers are marked with raised silver pips and with a little ring of luminous dots to the very outer edge.
The hands are silver in colour (with luminous tips on each one) and there is a second hand (you don't find this that often on this type of clock).
You can set the alarm - and the alarm rings!
This model is NOT battery operated but an earlier wind-up example.
My clock is in generally good vintage condition - it looks good on display.
There are some very, very minor scratches (commensurate with age and use) to the surface here and there - which you can see on close-up inspection - but nothing that disfiguring, The chrome metal stand has no nasty dents or scratches. The stand is secure and with no splitting to the base section where it attaches
I have priced this fine clock to take the most minor condition issues into consideration - if perfect I would have had it priced at nearer to £80,
Overall height is about 7 1/4 inches. The diameter of the face section is 4 1/2 inches. The depth of the main body section is 3 inches. The base stand is 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
In good working condition and keeps good time. A nice clean example and would look great in a contemporary or space-age interior.
