This is a sweet little figurine from the 1940s Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Miniature Figurines Series.
It features a little girl boy carrying a large fishing creel on her back. The figure is called "Girl from Skovshoved" and dates from 1946.
It is from a series entitled Child Welfare Figurines which were designed by Herluf Jensenious.
She is 5 1/2 inches in height, and all hand-painted,
It is in excellent vintage condition with no damages.
The little creel on her back has lots of little holes in the top - you could fill it with a little bit of water and use as a miniature posy vase - with little daisy or snowdrop blooms popped inside. How cute would that look?
