This Victorian paperweight takes the form of a glass dump - with a green tinge to the glass (as you might find in old antique bottles). Inside are the heads of three bright yellow trumpet-shaped flowers. It also has the word "June" - and this type of inclusion to these antique weights is rarer. This weight might have been made as a special commission or souvenir. There is an unpolished pontil mark on the base. This one is in excellent antique condition - with no chips or dings.
These weights were very popular with Victorians - and they often featured yellow flowers, fountain shapes or were large ones with simple bubble inclusions.
They are still collectable desktop or decoration items for period interiors.
The height is about 2 3/4 inches. The diameter is 3 inches.
