This is a highly collectable vintage German porcelain teaset.
It is made of porcelain and stamped to the base of each piece: Friesland.
All the pieces are very aero-dynamic in shape and decorated with an abstract gold motif on each piece (as photographed).
The shape is, I think, called Tiffany - and the gold pattern is called Golden Dream (5412). The designer is Herwert Frie.
The set consists of the amazing teapot - which sits on a tripod stand (as shown) with little tealight below. There is a slick milk jug and sugar bowl - and as you might never find again - six matching cups and saucers - these are very fine and almost translucent.
Dimensions: the teapot is 5 inches in height with a width of about 9 inches. The stand is 4 inches in height and five inches wide.
The sugar bowl is 2 inches in height and a width of 3 1/2 inches - and the little milk jug is 2 1/2 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches wide.
There are six cups and saucers in this set - the saucers are just under 5 inches in diameter - and the cups have a diameter of 3 1/2 inches - and a height of about 1 3/4 inches.
A very fair price for this harder-to-source design classic.
Sadly, due to the fragility of this set - it would have to be limited to posting in the UK only. It will have to be sent in two parcels with Special Next Day Delivery to keep the items safe in transit. This will cost £24.95 and applied to your order at the checkout.
