This is a lovely vintage 1970s Guzzini Style White Plastic & Chrome Mushroom Hanging Ceiling Light.
It is a very good quality vintage hanging light shade.
It has an Italian Rolly style rise and fall mechanism inside, as photographed. The Rolly mechanism is dated 1972.
It is certainly a fine vintage space-age white globular shade with a rise and fall mechanism. It has a coiled cord and the rolly mechanism inside allows the shade to be pulled down and raised up.
The cable is curly around the main flex and covered with a black woven textile cloth.
The light is in excellent vintage condition - with no apparent damages. It is an authentic vintage shade - indeed, I can confirm that it has been up in my loft all packed up for the last 20 years when I moved in.
I have included lots of photos of the shade here on my website listing so that you can get a good idea of all details of this light.
It is certainly a lovely genuine 1970s British large modernist futuristic shade - you won't be disappointed with it. It would look fabulous with one of those coloured bulbs that can be controlled by your phone and you can change the colours of the light which lights up the shade. These bulbs don't generate much heat and are very good with these vintage plastic shades.
The fitting is for a standard B22 bulb - best not to use more than 60 watts ...
Dimensions: The diameter at the widest point is 13 inches. The height is 9 inches.
It has a minimum drop of about 28 inches (can be pulled down longer). So hope this helps you to decide if it will fit into your interior.
The size of my lovely shade makes it slightly more expensive to post - but it will be packed in a large sturdy box to ensure safety in transit. It will also be fully insured against loss or damage in transit.
UK POSTING ONLY, This will cost £10 with Parcelforce48.
