This is a lovely vintage 1970s Guzzini Style Coffee Colour Plastic & Chrome Mushroom Hanging Ceiling Light.
It is a good quality vintage hanging light shade.
It has an Italian Rolly style rise and fall mechanism inside, as photographed.
It is certainly a fine vintage pale coffee-coloured globular shade with a rise and fall mechanism. It has a coiled cord and the rolly mechanism inside allows the shade to be pulled down and raised up.
The cable is curly around the main flex and covered with a black woven textile cloth.
The light is in good vintage condition - there is a little bit of pitting to the chrome on the top section (will not be seen when hanging - as photographed, it looks worse than in my close up snap - than in real life, I hasten to add!) and one tiny mark to the surface of the plastic to the side (photographed in close up). But no nasty scratches, burns, warping,, discolourisation etc. It is priced accordingly.
It is an authentic vintage shade - indeed, I can confirm that it has been up in my loft all packed up for the last 20 years when I moved in.
I have included lots of photos of the shade here on my website listing so that you can get a good idea of all details of this light.
It is certainly a lovely genuine 1970s British large modernist futuristic shade - you won't be disappointed with it.
The fitting is for a standard B22 bulb - best not to use more than 60 watts ...
Dimensions: The diameter at the widest point is 12 inches. The height is 8 1/2 inches.
It has a minimum drop of about 25 inches (can be pulled down longer). So hope this helps you to decide if it will fit into your interior.
The size of my lovely shade makes it slightly more expensive to post - but it will be packed in a large sturdy box to ensure safety in transit. It will also be fully insured against loss or damage in transit.
UK POSTING ONLY, This will cost £10 with Parcelforce48.
