This is a fabulous skillet-shaped lidded serving pot with a long carrying handle on the side.
It dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s and was made in Norway.
It is from the Stavangerflint Flamingo range - as annotated on the base.
The pattern was designed by Inger Waage and it is called Bamboo.
The dish is decorated with a "mock" bamboo border and with a fabulous abstract pattern on the lid - this consists of a mid-century design of stylized blue fishes and slices of lemon.
Great for a Scandi-modern interior and serving up little tasty nibbles or titbits at a dinner party.
The dish measures approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter (not including the handle) and has a height of 3 3/4 inches. The length from the end of the handle to the opposite side of the body section is 9 3/4 inches.
In excellent damage-free condition.
I also have a number of dinner plates in this pattern - if you are building up a set.
UK postage only. Unpacked it is 950 grams.
Postage will be with Royal Mail Tracked at £4.95.
