This is a fabulous round-shaped lidded serving pot with two small lug handles on each side.
I have two identical dishes in my online store but please note that this listing is for ONE SINGLE DISH ONLY. Postage for the two in my store would have a capped postage of £10.
It dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s and was made in Norway.
It is from the Stavangerflint Flamingo range - as annotated on the base.
The pattern was designed by Inger Waage and it is called Bamboo.
The dish is decorated with a "mock" bamboo border and with a fabulous abstract pattern on the lid - this consists of a mid-century design of stylized blue fishes and slices of lemon.
Great for a Scandi-modern interior and serving up little tasty nibbles or titbits at a dinner party.
The dish measures approximately 7 3/4 inches in diameter and from handle to handle it is 9 1/2 inches. The height is 4 1/4 inches.
In excellent damage-free condition. My price reflects just what fabulous condition these two tureens are in.
Unpacked it is 1.4 kg.
Postage will be with Parcelforce48 - this will cost £10 at check out. This would be a capped price if you wished more than one item in the pattern on offer in my store.
