This is a lovely late Georgian / early Victorian hand-blown finger bowl.

It is a fine antique bowl in lovely vintage condition.
The price is very fair for this fine large example.
These antique glass finger bowls or rinsers - would have been used to rinse your fingers at a fancy dining tale after indulging fancy finger foods - or to rinse quickly wine glasses - so that different wines did not taint each other in a glass.
This owl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration - a little rubbing (slight and not disfiguring) to the pontil halo on the base - commensurate with age and them being picked up and down from a dining table. This is a good sign!
It has a polished pontil to the base.
They measure (approx) 3 1/2 inches in height - and with a diameter at the widest of 4 3/4 inches. Each glass bowl is nearly 320 grams in weight unpacked).
