This is such a pretty little necklace - it is very delicate in detail and construction - and would look very special worn with a little black dress or vintage cocktail dress on a special occasion or function.
The main section consists of a little flowerhead set with lots of little shimmering opals - there are two little hanging drops on the finest of chains to the bottom.
It is strangely unmarked with a maker's name - it is marked 925 on the catch. But as you can see from my photographs it is beautifully made. It is possibly a "one-off" designer piece or commission.
The pendant is on a very fine silver-gilt chain - and this is not on a loop but incorporated into the pendant design itself. The chain is very delicate - so care must be taken when you are wearing this special little piece. It has a lobster claw clasp - so easier to put on and take off.
Dimensions:. The full overall length of the full chain and pendant section is 17 inches. The full length of the pendant is to the bottom of the lower teardrop opal drop stone is 10 inches. The flowerhead section has a diameter of 2 cm. It is just under 1 cm in depth.
The pendant is in pristine condition and is nice and clean. Looks like it has never been worn. It will be sent in a nice simple gift box to you.
