This is a sweet little vintage decorative wall plate by the Danish designer Bjørn Wiinblad for German porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal.
It is finely decorated with Wiinblad's illustrations relating to the tales of Sinbad the Sailor.
I have a total of 8 of these Sinblad plates in my store - as photographed.
This plate is No. 4 in the series. The subject shows: Sinbad Seated in an Interior. A window is behind him. He glazes out of the window and sees a sailing ship in full sail. He wistfully thinks of his travels at sea.
It is unboxed but in excellent vintage condition with no damages. There is no loss to the gilding on the design.
Dimensions: 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
There is a little built-in plate hanger on the reverse - so you can hang it straight onto your wall.
