Although relatively modern - this is a fine and already a collectable Royal Souvenir Mug.
It was made by Emma Bridgewater pottery in 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - the 60th Anniversary of the Accession of the Queen to the throne.
The design focuses on the grand parade of boats and sea-going crafts on the River Thames. The weather sadly was not so good and many of the participants were rather wet and soggy towards the end of the event.
The design is a rather jolly one and looks to earlier Ravilious ones for design inspiration. It shows a selection of the craft on the river and has a decorative border inside of the rim - with a decorative pattern with anchor and a few images of birds. The handle features a rope design.
The mug measures just under 4 inches in height. The diameter at the rim is 3 1/4 inches.
The mug would probably hold about a 1/2 pint of liquid.
It is in perfect condition with no damages. As good as new!
It will be sent to UK addresses for £4.95 Recorded Delivery with the Royal Mail.
