This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
This is one of the larger Monart shallow dishes that I have in my store. It is certainly a good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass. The body colour is a mottled sky-blue glass. Around the rim, there are darker blue flecks which are also speckled with gold aventurines that twinkle in the light. The base is polished and there is a raised pontil mark that you regularly find on old hand-blown Monart pieces. It has no label - but it is definitely an old Monart glass dish and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
Dimensions: The diameter is 7 1/4 inches. The height is 2 inches.
