This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
This is more of a standard Monart shallow dish. It is certainly a good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass.
The body colour is a mottled baby-blue glass. Around the rim there are oodles of gold aventurines which fair twinkle away in the light. The base is polished and there is a raised pontil mark where the Monart label would have been placed. It has no label - but it is definitely an old Monart glass dish and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
