This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
This is a lovely small-scale Monart dish - and a good starter piece for your collection of Monart glass. The colour on the base section is a darker aqua-green shade - with more clear body colour on the sides. The green swirls into the clear glass. The rim is a pale blue shade. There are no gold flecks in this. The glassmaker seems to have been concentrating on applying the swirls to the design. The base is polished and there is a raised pontil mark in the center which has been polished. Onto the raised pontil there is an old original Monart gold label, as photographed.
As you can see from my photographs - it is an interesting piece and sits very nicely in your hand. It looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
