This is a pretty piece of vintage hand-blown Scottish art glass. It dates to around the 1950s.
It is certainly a pretty example with subtle pastel colours of a pale grey to the base - and a sugar pink to the shoulders. Where the two glass colours merge - and are blue whorls - which remind me a little of waves on the sea.
This is NOT a Monart example, but a slightly later vase made by Vasart, as signed on the base. The Vasart shape, I think is, number is V041
It has an etched signature on the base: Vasart, as photographed.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is on tiny scuff to the surface of the glass on the side - which you cannot see on display and can only really feel with your finger running over it. I have taken a photograph of this blemish - it apprears as a wee white dot on the photo them is nearly all grey in colour.
This is taken into account with my pricing. The vase certainly looks grand on display - and would look really special in an interior with pale colours and grey tone.
A nice size for display - with a height of 6 inches. The diameter at the widest point is 6 1/2 inches. Unpacked it is 900 grams.
