This is another pretty piece of Victorian Scottish pottery - made by Robert Heron & Sons / Methven Pottery / Links Pottery, Kirkcaldy.
It is one of a group of antique Scottish pottery vessels in this attractive pattern that I have for sale online.
This is a very simple pair - and takes the form of a wee milk jug or creamer and an open sugar bowl.
Both are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. Nice and clean inside - and great for use or display.
Dimensions: Milk Jug: The height to the top of the spout is 2 1/2 inches. From handle to spout it is just under 4 inches. The sugar bowl is just over 4 inches in diameter and with a height of 2 1/2 inches.
Robert Methven Heron was the owner of the Fife Pottery in Kirkcaldy. He introduced a new pottery range called Wemyss Ware in 1882.
It is certainly a very fresh hand-painted pattern.
