These are attractive antique Scottish pottery items - a little open bowl / sugar bowl and a little matching saucer. They are made by Mak Merry.
They each have a matching floral pattern.
It is easy for me to date these pieces - as it is dated in green on the base: 1925
They are painted on pottery "blanks" - and are signed on the base: Mak Merry
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Dimensions: The height of the wee bowl is 2 1/4 inches and the diameter at the top is 3 1/2 inches. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches.
CONDITION: They are both in excellent condition and display well. No chips or cracks.
These are such lovely Mak Merry ceramics - and they are listed at a fair price for these vintage Scottish Art Pottery pieces.
