These are much sought-after antique Scottish pottery pieces.
On offer here are two matching cups and saucers and a shared single side plate.
They each have a matching pattern with white prunus flowers on a pink background around the rim.
I have a couple of teapots in this pattern on offer on my online site.
They date to around the 1920s / 1930s and are hand-painted.
They are painted on pottery "blanks" - and are signed on the base: Mak Merry
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Dimensions: Each cup measures 2 1/2 inches in height and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter. The side plate is 6 1/4 inches in diameter.
CONDITION: They are in a fine vintage condition and display well. Each piece has no cracks or chips - the side plate has a little bit of craquelure - please check this in my photographs. I have taken a number of details in extreme close-up for you.
I have priced these pieces to take this into account - each cup and saucer is £30 and the side plate is only £20 - so a grand total of £80.
These are such lovely Mak Merry ceramics - and they are listed at a fair price for these vintage Scottish Art Pottery pieces.
UK Postage with Royal Mail Recorded will be £5.50 and applied at the checkout.
