This is a pretty little antique Scottish pottery china plate.
It looks great on display in a country kitchen - and it is all hand-painted with a thick band of delicate flowers in pastel shades.
It dates to around the 1920s / 1930s.
These plates are usually painted on pottery or fine china "blanks" - and are signed on the base: Mak Merry
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
This is certainly a very cheerful side plate and is very spring-like in design.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze.
Dimensions: it is 7 3/4 inches in diameter.
UK Postage with Royal Mail Recorded will be £5.50 and applied at the checkout.
