These are three little antique Scottish pottery plates.
They are all of a matching pattern with white prunus fllowers on a pink background around the rim. The plates are all of different sizes.
On offer here are all the plates shown in the photographs.
They date to around the 1920s / 1930s and are hand-painted.
They are painted on pottery "blanks" - and are signed on the base: Mak Merry
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
These cheerful side plates are very pretty and in excellent condition.
Dimensions: the largest plate is 9 inches (£45). The next one is 5 inches (£25) and the smallest one is 4 1/4 inches (£20).
CONDITION: They are in a fine vintage condition - there is a little craquelure to the glaze - which is common with Mak Merry pieces.
These are such lovely Mak Merry decorative plates - and they are listed at a fair price for these vintage Scottish Art Pottery pieces. I have some other pieces in this pattern including a rare teapot.
