This is a stylish little 1970s Scottish glass paperweight - made by Strathearn Glass. It has a little date cane set into the base for the year 1975. There is also the original paper label.
The paperweight is a more unusual egg-shaped one, with a flattened base. Inside is a beautifully created dark Royal Blue blue flower, with three spreading green leaves. The base is a rich inky dark blue / black shade.
It was difficult to photograph the little flower contained within the weight, due to lots of reflections, so hope that my photographs do it justice.
Height: 3 1/2 inches. Weight unpacked is just under 600 grams. In good vintage condition with no chips or damages.
