This is a part of a selection of rarer 1950s British tablewares that I am listing. Postal discounts would of course apply for multiple purchases.
This is a little pair of dessert plates. They are made by Crown Ducal - as you can see on the lovely back stamp on the base. The pattern name is also applied here - it is called Water Lily.
Crown Ducal issued this design in two different colours: one with a blue-grey banding on the rim and another variant with a dusty pink band. These probably date to the mid-1950s. They are now rarer survivors and not so many dinnerware pieces with this pattern seem to have survived. The rarity of these, the attractiveness of the design, and the fact that these are now over 60 years old and in generally good vintage condition are reflected in my asking price.
On offer here are the two dessert plates. They measure 10 inches in diameter.
They are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are no disfiguring cutlery marks on the pattern or surface. Unpacked they weigh 960 grams

These are priced at £15 each - as a harder to find larger size of plates and more attractive pink colour.
Postage would be £4.95 for this set (UK Royal Mail Recorded) - I could cap additional items for a capped price of £10 (Parcelforce48 Recorded) - excess postage paid would be quickly refunded to you.
