This is a vintage powder compact for loose face powders
It dates to the 1960s or early 1970s. It does not appear to have a maker's mark. It has never been used and It is in a like-new condition - so no hygiene issues with it.
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid is covered with a plain cream coloured vinyl material. It is perfectly clean. In the center is an applied metal & enamel crest for the City of Amsterdam.
The base is exceptionally shiny and is almost a mirror finish. It is decorated with a light pattern of concentric rings, as photographed. The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface.
A slightly larger size - and the diameter is 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm).
I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
Good price for this more unusual vintage souvenir powder compact. UK postage will be with Royal Mail large letter size (the cheapest that I can find for you!) and applied at check-out. I have a number of vintage powder compacts in my online shop.
