This is a vintage powder compact for pressed face powder cakes.
It is in good condition and retains a full vintage rose-toned powder inside.
It dates to the late 1960s or early 1970s and is in the most excellent vintage
The main body is gold-tone - and the top of the lid has a shiny, twinkly blue metallic enamel with a gold incised circular pattern, as photographed. Any white flashes which may seem to be on the lid are simply reflections - the enamel is very reflective and catches the light with a ray effect.
The mirror inside the lid is clean and without marks or spots on the surface.
The diameter is 8.3 cm (3 3/4 inches)- so a slightly larger size.
I have taken lots of images for your inspection. My asking price reflects its age and its condition.
A lovely example - you won't be disappointed with it.
It will cost £4.95 to post to you with Royal Mail Recorded post in the UK.
