This is a beautifully made vintage Mexican Silver Bracelet.
It is 925 Sterling Silver and has deep-set round stones as a decorative embellishment.
One end is paddle-shaped and has deeply inset coloured stones separated by silver bands: the stones strips are as follows - malachite, brighter blue lapis, darker lapis lazuli and the oval end is turquoise.
It is a very substantial and chunky piece with a lot of silver making it up.
It takes the form of a thick circular band - which is hinged on the centre back - so that you can easily pull it apart to put it on and off easily. The hinge is a very sturdy and strong one.
The two ends meet up on the top of your wrist when you are wearing it. The paddle end meets up with a cut-away section on the end of the other section of the bracelet - and it is hugged by a shallow silver prong - rather like a jigsaw - a lovely decorative element.
This bracelet would fit a wrist just under 7 inches in circumference. The overall weight is 52 grams.
It is a rather sophisticated design - and is a special piece by Taxco - and much sought after.
It is in just lovely condition with no damages: it has no evidence of it ever having been worn and the silver is nice and shiny. It is clean and ready to wear. The bracelet will be sent in a simple gift box to you.
It is marked inside with maker details as photographed. I hope that my photographs do it justice. It is a fair price for a piece of Mexican Taxco vintage jewellery - with so much silver in it and also the unusual design.
Postage will be capped at £4.95 in the UK - and it will be sent to you with Special Next Day Delivery.
