This is a lovely vintage 1970s Scottish paperweight. It is made by Perthshire / Strathearn Paperweights.
It does not have a P cane - but not all early Perthshire weights had a siganture cane in them. I think that this is a PP1 design by Perthshire rather than a Strathearn one.
It is about 1 3/4 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of just over 2 1/4 inches.
The ground is a dark, almost black colour - with a pontil mark in the centre. It has a total of ten half spokes with latticino twists in blue and yellow. The central rosette consists of blue, yellow and orange millefiori canes. There are more canes in each section between the spokes - these are blue, pink and green. The palette of colours on this fine weight is certainly unusual and a very vibrant selection
It is in fine vintage condition for display with no chips, cracks or surface scratches. This beautiful weight looks even nicer in "real life" than in my photographs.
UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Recorded - this will cost £5.50 and added to your order at the checkout. Sadly, I can't post to the EU just now - but I can send it to Canada, the United States and Australia.
