This is one of two collectable little near-matching Carlton Ware ashtrays or pin dishes that I have in my store.
The only difference between the two of them is that one little figure has a lighter-coloured face and a slightly paler blue dress. The model is all hand=painted and marked with the Carlton Ware backstamp below
The ashtray has a little tray section to the side - with a bright orange exterior. To the right-hand side - is a sweet little model of a Bride. She has a veil on the top of her head - wears a long blue dress and carries a tiny bouquet of flowers. She has dark black painted hair and wee closed eyes on a painted face.
These little ashtrays are often teamed up with another similar one - featuring the Groom.
The little ashtray is very Art Deco in style and dates to around the 1930s. It measures 2 1/4 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches in length - the depth is just under 2 inches.
Great condition with no chips, cracks or damages. This one is the one with the lighter dress and face tones.
