This is an old porcelain Soviet Lomonosov figurine. It was made for export and has the MADE IN RUSSIA stamp on the base. It also has a very lightly printed LFZ logo on the base (it is hard to see, but it is there!). It mark dates the little figure to being made before 1991.
It is a very rare model and comes from the "Happy Childhood" series. The designer of the figure was G. Stolboyaya and the artist K.G. Kosenkova. It probably dates to around the 1960s.
These little figurines of children are much sought after, especially in this lovely condition.
It is in perfect condition with no damage, losses or cracks, and all the paintwork is intact.
It is just over 5 inches in height. Probably an item for the more specialist collector of 20th century Russian porcelain figures.
The set will be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked post - this will be applied to your order at the checkout. I will also take out insurance to make sure that the wee figure is fully insured against loss or damage in transit.
