This is a lovely set of vintage 1940s or 1950s souvenir spoons.
They are lovely quality and with the lighthouse mark on the back, the letter P and the monogram of Axel Prip, as photographed.
All this relates to them being silver plate.
They are in excellent vintage condition with no losses to the plate, nice and shiny with all the decoration crisp and unrubbed.
As nice a set as you might expect to find. Sadly, without original box.
Each little coffee spoon is 4 inches in length.
The handle has embossed word: KOBENHAVN (for Copenhagen).
There are images of five of Copenhagen's buildings which feature magnificent towers.
The last spoon in the set - has two crossed Viking horns and the dates 1734 - 1639. These horns are the Golden Horns of Gallehus - which were individually found in the quoted dates.
Lovely little spoons - and these vintage mid-century examples in such lovely condition are now so much harder to find. So a very fair price for these special little collector's spoons.
