This is a pretty little piece of Art Deco Poole Pottery.
It dates to the 1930s and is all hand painted.
The base has the terracotta coloured clay that you might expect with Carter, Stabler & Adams pieces - and it also has the stamped mark, as photographed. The impressed mark was used on items made between 1925 and 1934.
The base also has a painted mark /EE - which identifies the pattern as the Fushcia pattern.
It is certainly a very lovely pot - and interest in the early 20th century pieces of Poole is again in the ascendent.
The interior of the pot as an eggshell lilac-pink glaze; some very miror crazing to the glaze inside near the base - but only noticeable on close inspection and it often found on these pieces.
No chips, cracks or hairlines etc.
Around the rim are little hand painted blue dots - with a thick yellow band and a lilac and fine green line around the neck. Around the side is the Fuschia decoration - and at the bottom are lilac and green lines.
Height is 3 3/4 inches and with a 4 inches diameter at its widest.
Very sweet little piece of collectable Poole - fair price to sell.
