This is a wee group of Three Edinburgh Crystal whisky tumblers or glasses. Always nice for Scotch on the Rocks - or dare I say it - topping up with a dash of cola and ice! I do like a wee drop of Black Bottle and Cola.
The pattern must date to the late 1980s or 1990s. Each one as an engraved Edinburgh Crystal mark from this time on the base.
I have checked through archives of patterns for these lovely tumblers - but have been unable to come up with a pattern name or catalogued identifcation for them. For this reason - I am listing them at a bargain £10 for each glass.
They are certainly top quality designs - with lots of little intricate hobnail criss-crosses around the bottom section - and topped all around with little fans. There is a deeply engraved star on the base.
The whisky tumblers are 3 1/4 inches in height. The rim is 3 1/8 inches. The base is 2 3/4 inches. They have a good bit of weight to them.
My tumblers are in excellent vintage condition with no damage to them. They have a lovely ring to them - fine Scottish crystal glasses! I have taken lots of photographs for your inspection.
