On offer here are a pair of boxed Caithness paperweights which were made in the late 80s / early 90s by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006).
There are TWO on offer here both with a "space" theme to them. One is called Planetarium and the other is called Milky Way.
The Milky Way weight dates to 1991. It is number 356 / 750. It was fully subscribed.
The Planetarium weight dates to 1989. It is number 261 / 750. It was also fully subscribed.
They are both nice weights - the milky way one has creamy white swirls in the centre and a large air bubble - like the galaxy. The other one has an outer layer of tiny controlled air bubbles and inside the weight, there is a large bubble with a pale purple spiral.
Both weights are in perfect condition with no damages - they are both about 3 inches in diameter.
Stock Code: 900.PAIR
They are both in their original box in which they were retailed - and the total weight is 1.6 kg.
Sadly - as a pair these would be a bit too heavy to send out of the UK.
