This is a very rustic stoneware teapot from Tingkeramik (Ting) Ceramics in who were based in the small village of Folle in Denmark.
It dates from the 1970s when such rustic Scandinavian pieces were extremely popular.
The teapot is such a fabulous shape - and probably a "one-off" piece. I just love the shape of that chunky spout and the sweep of the handle issuing from the top of the pot and curling down towards the bottom.
My Ting Ceramic is made of substantial stoneware - with lots of rustic brown treacle colours in the glaze - it has a large incised signature on the base.
Dimensions: The height is about 5 1/4 inches. The length from spout to handle is 8 3/4 inches. The diameter at the widest point is 5 1/2 inches. The weight unpacked is 1.3 kg
I have not seen another one like it and indeed have had it in my own personal for a few decades now. I have never used it, so it is lovely and clean, and in perfect condition.
It would have to be sent only to addresses in the UK. This will be with Parcelforce24 to keep it safe in transit to you. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
