This is certainly a very beautiful paperweight to add to your collection.
It was made by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006).
This one is called Renaissance and is CT-443.
It is number 83 out of a limited edition of just 500 pieces.
This lovely weight has a dusky satin frosted exterior - with an angled polished slice or clear viewing aperture on the front.
When you look inside the weight you can see a delicate and very pretty flower with dappled blue and dappled pink petals. The weight has a large controlled bubble in the center. The ground is a subtle frosted midnight blue / purple shade.
It is of course in good vintage condition with no chips etc - and measures 3 inches in diameter.
