These are an extra-long pair of Scandinavian heavy cotton / linen curtain.
They are printed on one side - and on the other have the most wonderful blue and turquoise abstracted floral pattern.
The design name is printed along the selvage edge RUM by Greta Moller for Boras, Sweden, as photographed. This fabric was sold at Heal's during the late 1960s.
They are in very good vintage condition. Nice and clean - so no need for you to laundry them. This design is known of as Rum / and sometimes Bacardi. The colours are mainly blue, turquoise, with touches of dark blue-green.
Given that they are an exceptional length - and width you could probably make two matching pairs from there - have left them at this length - as would be perfect for a long window in a high hallway.
They measure as follows: each single curtain is a stonking 340 cm wide - and with a length or drop of 307 cm.. yowzah! that would be for one massive window.
I have taken a few snaps of them laid out like a runner on the floor in my house - they are folded width-wise into a more narrow strip - but they are actually wider than they are long! yikes!
No nasty smells or stains - just one little area of fading along a small section of one edge - not a major problem (especially if you were planning to make two pairs of smaller curtains out of them - or could hem the little edge sections back.
They are unlined.
These are great as well not just as curtains - but being a heavy-duty cotton - you could also use them on upholstery projects - smaller curtains and perhaps a matching chair or small sofa? Very versatile.
Fair price for such a rare and long pair of uncut lengths.
Sadly - posting only in the UK. It will be £10 and this will be charged at the checkout stage.
