This is a lovely large oval high-sided serving dish.
It is ovenproof - and designed to serve dishes cooked in the oven straight to the table - or it can just be used as a regular serving bowl.
It was made in the 1960s by the Norwegian company Figgjo Flint, as part of their Turi range.
This dish features the highly collectable and much sought after pattern Clupea - or Herring Design.
There is a pretty border around the rim which features a shoal of little stylised blue fishes swimming about nose to tail - and with a slightly atomic pattern made up of what looks like flower heads and onions.
Each serving dish is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks - and measures 12 1/2 x just over 6 1/2 inches. The dish is 2 inches high.
With maker's name on the bottom of each plate.
There is an impressed pattern number 12020 / NORWAY.
A fair price as these serving dishes are now quite hard to find.
Due to the weight of the plate - sadly, postage would have to be for UK only, as it will be expensive to post outside of the UK.
