This is a lovely vintage Scottish paperweight.
It has been made by Strathearn Glass in the 1960s - and still retains their paper label on the base, as photographed.
It is a size for display - being about 1 1/2 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of about 2 3/8 inches.
The ground is a vibrant bright red with a polished pontil mark.
Onto the ground is scattered a closepack carpet of multi-coloured millefiori canes.
It is damage free, with no chips or cracks. There are no scratches on the weight - any white marks in the images are due to reflections in photographing the paperweight.
