This is a nice little set of vintage porcelain Wade Zoo Whimtrays.
These miniature dishes are early or 1st issues. They were originally produced between 1958 and 1965. These are pretty little round "pintrays" that have a small raised ledge at the back onto which is applied a little original Whimsie figure. They were named Whimtrays.
These 1950s / 1960s issues all have a moulded mark on the base which reads: Whimtrays / Wade Porcelain / Made in England.
Of offer here is a set of five little Whimsie trays. They feature two with black trays (a Bactrian Camel and Llama or Goat on a rock); two with sky blue bases (a lion cub and panda) and finally a yellow dish with a little boxer dog on it.
All are in good vintage condition with no damages. They are all the same size at 3 inches in diameter.
These are harder-to-find examples and very fair price at only £10 each. UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Tracked. This will be applied to your order at checkout.
