This is an interesting old biscuit tin dating to 1985 - which was the year that the Girl Guides celebrated their 75th Anniversary.
The tin was made by Cadbury to store chocolate biscuits in - but you could get a fairly decent sized cake in here too.
It is certainly very 1980s in the style of its graphics - with a central image on the top of all the guides from a variety of nations sitting and holding hands on the central design on the lid - around this are images of all the activities that a guide might enjoy.
The sides of the tin are a Royal Blue colour - with images all around of Girl Guide camp activities and the logo for the 75th Anniversary celebrations.
As you can see from my photographs - it is in excellent condition - with no dents, scratches or rust. The interior is nice and clean with a shiny silver finish.
Looks so fabulous condition wise - given that it is now 33 years old! and the Guides 100th Anniversary has now come and gone.
A nice piece of Guiding history - and perfect for Brown Owl to pass around with some Cadbury biscuits in at camp.
I am limiting free postage here to the UK - but if you were interested outside the UK, let me know and I can try and find a good price for you.
